Villette Bikes: Worry-Free Riding Your Villette e-bike is crafted with care for long and trouble-free use. Regularly check for wear on parts like tires, brake pads, gears, and chains. Periodic cleaning and lubrication of moving parts will extend the lifespan. Perform these tasks yourself or consult a bike mechanic.
Enjoy a Hassle-Free Ride Ensure the battery is fully charged for your ride, and check tire pressure. Note that the manufacturer's specified range is under optimal conditions. In practice, factors like road conditions, tire pressure, wind, and assistance levels may reduce the actual range. If the battery runs out, the bike rides well without assistance, with minimal resistance when the motor is off.
Ready to go? Unfold, lock with the frame lock, optionally remove the battery for security, and take a break. Many places allow battery recharging, so carry the charger for longer rides.
Battery, Maintenance, and Storage Charge the battery fully before first use. Discharge and recharge it at least four times for optimal activation. Subsequently, charge as needed without affecting lifespan.
For storage, keep the battery at room temperature, fully charged. If not using it for months, charge it every two months to prevent deep discharge.
Avoid water immersion and high-pressure washing for the battery. During transportation, remove the battery from the bike for rain protection.
